Laurie is a Licensed Massage Therapist, and has studied Thai Yoga Massage with Paul Weitz. She is a Physical Fitness Specialist and Nutritional Councilor, certified through Cooper Institute out of Dallas Texas. Laurie is a Usui and Sa Sekhem Sahu Reiki Master and Teacher; she incorporates a unique healing energy into her yoga classes. Laurie continues to study and educate herself; she does regular conferences through Yoga Journal, Omega Institute and takes workshops through Moksha Yoga in Chicago.

In each class, Laurie blends her training and fifteen-plus years of experience into a creative, challenging, and soulful vinyasa flow class.  She takes her students on a journey through every part of the body, exploring the workings of their minds and their connection to spirit. She inspires her students to become self-aware, mentally, physically, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually. Laurie seeks wisdom through action, so she constantly reinforces the principals of alignment and offers variations in each pose so students of all levels can feel safe and get what they need from their practice. Laurie encourages her students to go with-in, to recognize the inner being, love, honor and accept the place where they are that day, and to realize that every day (just like life) their practice will change! She has them work through the challenges to do the best they can to find grace and balance in the present moment.

Chris Baxter - has been studying Yoga since 1997. After a car accident, chiropractic care and disillusioned perception of his personal health and day-to-day habits lead him to begin the balances of health and lifestyle.

In January of 2000, Chris traveled to India and Sri Lanka. India brought Chris to newer realms of the enchanted spirit of yoga. The year he spent experiencing the depth of Indian humanities, arts, saddus and strangers, has forever changed him. Part of his spirit remains in India. After visits to the beauty of S.E. Asia and Indonesia, the summer of 2002 brought him back to America. Chris says, “Traveling and traveling with another is hard work. The rewards come threefold… you end up really knowing yourself and your partner.”

When he is not teaching yoga yoga, Chris works on a variety of healing arts; music, trance painting, therapeutic yoga, vippasana meditation and even dips into the world of tarot.

Steve Alling Steve has been  practicing yoga for over 2 years and has been practicing meditation for over 10 years. Steve started practicing meditation to help with skydiving and with the stress of his job, as a 18-wheel truck driver.

Steve is a  Reiki Practitioner and a Tibetan bowl Healer. Steve believes that in this world of 14 hour days and nonstop deadlines, there need's to be time to give your mind and body a break. One needs to learn to "Let go". His favorite author J.R.R. Tolkien said," All you can do is use the time that is given to you."

When Steve is not at the studio, you can find him driving his truck during the week, playing computer games on the weekends and in the warm months you will find him skydiving  with his friends. Steve was on the skydiving  World Record team in 1998 and 2000 setting the World Record for the larges freefall formation, of 246 people.
